On March 15, 1994, Michigan voters approved the constitutional amendment known as Proposal A.

Proposal A was designed to limit the growth in property taxes by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) until ownership in a property was transferred.

Kent Conservation District

The Kent Conservation District will once again be holding it's Annual Spring Seedling Sale. Orders will be due no later than March 31st. There will also be a Backyard Habitat Workshop held on February 28th at the Conservation District office from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. See full details for both events below:
