The Michigan by Rail Forum is part of a series of 16 public forums taking place throughout the state to engage citizens on a vision for the future of Michigan's freight and passenger rail system.
This event will include an overview of the existing system; an interactive rail mapping session; discussion of financing issues and a big-picture vision of the future of Michigan's railroad system.
The Grand Rapids public forum will be held on October 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Rapid Central Station located at 250 Grandville Avenue SW, Grand Rapids. For more information on what the forums are all about, please visit www.michiganbyrail.org.
